RARE Antique 1900's LARGE GERMAN CAT TOY COTTON BATTING GLASS EYES All Original

This is truly a once-in-a-lifetime and very likely one-of-a-kind... Listing is for a Large, Fabulous, all Original and Authentic Antique Cat.

This Beautiful and Stunning Cat Dates to the Early 1900's. He's a Siamese Cat = and for those of you that collect Early Cats, From the late Victorian Period to the Early 1900's, Cats were all The Rage. For the first time, there were Cat Shows, and'Fancy' Cat Breeders. For The-Well-To-Do, one Cat Breed was in great Demand = The Siamese Cat = This giy with his stunning Blue Eyes, Seal Point Markings and Coloring looks just like a real cat! He even retains his Original Bow around his neck. This particular Cat in my opinion was either a Toy, possibly a Photographers Studio Prop when taking photos, or possibly a custom order piece to replicate an individuals Cat. This Cat is so well made and life-like, you would almost expect him (or her) to talk (Siamese Cats are talkers).. Cat is made of a hard molded Paper Mache and is covered in his original soft Cotton Batting. His head, face, and ears are beautifully molded, his glass eyes are a realistic stunning blue, he has a beautifully molded nose, and he has his original filiment whiskers. Filiment Whiskers Are early, and done by the Germans = just like the Early life-like German Rabbit Candy Containers and Store Displays. He's been in my collection for almost 20 years, and he's been well taken care of. Please note when you look at the photos , He is NOT dirty. He is in as near Pristine Condition as you can get for being over 100 years Old. The coloring to his Cotton Batting is even and deliberately tinted to replicate a real Siamese Cat and the Seal Point Coloring. He has been well taken care of. When I acquired him he was wrapped in Linen for decades. He is extremely rare, and I have never seen another. NOTE: He's NOT a recent or newly made Artist piece, he's guaranteed to be Early, Authentic, and as stated.

PLEASE: Review all photos, use the Zoom feature and ask all questions FIRST. AS THE PHOTOS ARE ALSO PART OF THE ITEMS DESCRIPTION. He Measures approximately 10" inches Tall to the tip of his ear, x 12" inches long to the tip of his tail.
